The PILLAR Group at Peking University is always looking for motivated students and researchers who are excited about natural language processing.

Prospective PhD students

We recruit PhD students through Peking University’s regular admission process. Strong candidates typically have a solid background in machine learning and NLP, good programming skills, and research experience demonstrated by publications or substantial projects. If you are interested, please email the PI with your CV, transcripts, and a short statement of research interests.

Prospective master students

Master students interested in working with the group on large language models, reasoning, agents, or multilingual NLP are welcome to get in touch. Please include your CV and a brief description of the topics you would like to work on.

Undergraduate research interns

We host a small number of undergraduate research interns each year. Interns are expected to commit at least one day per week for a semester or longer and to participate in the group’s reading group and research meetings.
